Smoothies are the best snack for in between meals to keep you full of energy, as well as help getting your 5 day. It has become so quick and easy to throw all the ingredients into a blender to make this healthy snack that i've been making all the time recently.
To start with - I don't have a fancy blender, in fact my blender is probably over 10 years old and works perfectly fine (although it does take some extra encouragement with some shaking and stirring) so no need to go out an splurge on a NutriBullet.
Frozen Summer Berries
(Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, rasberries & cranberries)
Due to my blender, I like to add in most of the yogurt first, as well as the melon, then add in the frozen berries, this helps to get the blender going otherwise I find the berries tend to get stuck. Lastly add in the golden syrup, this will help to balance out the sourness of all the fruit and give the perfect blend of sweet and sour.
